Saturday Mornings October 5, 12, 19, 26 11am- 2pm

(mistake) Making Station: a participatory artwork
Artist Maker Christine Wiltshier invites knitters, non-knitters and fellow mistake makers to join her in a playful exploration of mistake making, through participating in the interactive knit based artwork, (mistake) Making Station. If you have ever wanted to learn how to knit or remember how to knit or experiment with improvisational knitting, Christine will be providing materials, tools and friendly guidance as part of Sydney Craft Week.
Late and individual instruction on Saturdays during October from 11-2. This is a FREE event but please register your interest at or 9743 2501.
Christine Wiltshier works with, and at times (gently) subverts, the rule based conventions of traditional textile hand making.  (mistake) Making Station: a participatory artwork, is part of her current UNSW Art & Design Master of Fine Arts research, in which she is using the conventions of hand knitting, as a methodology through which to consider the generative potential of unintentional made mistakes.
