New Members Education Scholarship

Embroiderers' Guild NSW Inc. is proud to offer four education scholarships to new members to partially fund Guild courses and workshops.

The four scholarships are for new members ONLY who have joined the Embroiderers’ Guild NSW within a twelve month period. The scholarships are available to new members who have joined the Guild between 1 December 2017 and 1 December 2018. The course or workshop may have been undertaken during 2018 or be one that you have enrolled in for 2019.

The scholarships are offered for:
 Introduction to Embroidery Course                      1 x $200
 Correspondence course                                       1 x $100
 Guild workshops (including Summer School)      2 x $100

Funds are to be used for workshops with Guild Accredited tutors only.

The workshops can be arranged at Group/ Branch level as well as at Guild Headquarters.

Reimbursement will be made on completion of workshop/course after proof of payment and attendance.

If you are awarded a scholarship and you cannot attend the workshop you specified, a written submission giving reasons must be forwarded to the Management Committee as soon as possible.

A deferment or change to another workshop will be considered on compassionate grounds. The Management Committee will adjudicate whether you can choose another workshop within the 12 month period or forfeit the scholarship.

Applications close at 4.00pm on 23 December and are to be submitted to the Guild office.
