Betty Parsons New Members' Education Scholarships
Are you a New Member who joined the Embroiderers' Guild NSW between 1 December 2025 and 30 November
2026? Did you enrol in a Guild Course during 2026, or plan to enrol during 2027? If the answer to both questions
is Yes, you may be interested in one of the Guild's Betty Parsons Education Scholarships. The Scholarships
commemorate Betty Parsons, a long-term member of the Guild and of the Blue Mountains Group and Newcastle
Branch. Betty was a highly accomplished embroiderer who designed and stitched a wide variety of beautiful and
inspiring works.
The Embroiderers'Guild NSW Inc. is proud to offer five Betty Parsons Scholarships to new members to partially
fund Guild courses. Each Scholarship is worth $100
The Scholarships can be used for the following courses
- Essential Embroidery Techniques
- Creatives
- Contemporary Art in Stitch
- Start Stitching
Applications close at 4.00pm on 4 December 2026, and are to be submitted to the Guild office by email to:
info@embroiderersguildnsw.org.au. If you have any questions please contact the Guild office by email.
Reimbursement will be made on completion of the course, after proof of payment and attendance.
