Goldwork Highlights Report

A centrepiece exhibition of over 90 goldwork embroideries plus a packed program of eighteen other events over two months.



All girls and boys between the ages of 5 and 16 are welcome to participate in workshops at Concord West designed to introduce students to the world of creating using colour, fabric and thread. 

Small projects are completed in each workshop with tutors and Guild volunteers assisting students to master the skills required in each project. 

During the year 'Junior Stitchers' workshops are held on the Second Thursday of each set of School holidays. These cost $50 per session and NSW Creative Kids vouchers can be used towards workshops costs plus a small fee for the workshop kit. Click here for more information or use this link

The 2023 program has been set for the year and includes:

Thu 20 April Cross Stitch with Julie Rigley 10-2:30pm; Cost $50 or voucher per student.

Thu 13 July Stitching on Felt with Jane Mahler 10-2:30pm; Cost $50 or voucher per student.

Thu 5 October Christmas Ornament with Julie Rigley 10-2:30pm; Cost $50 or voucher per student.

In addition, a workshop is generally offered during January as part of the Embroiderers Guild NSW Summer School Program.
