Craft and Quilt Fair 2016
Carnaby Street, London, 1960s
Conceptually the Guild’s space looked like a ‘1960s fashion boutique’. Two installations were designed for this space and were open to all members of the Guild.
The brief for both installations was that Guild members could choose from the three different design influences which dominated the decade. Each has its own distinctive colour palette/s:
1) Pop (Mod)
2) Romantic
3) Bohemian
The members got busy stitching, the result was amazing and a great success at the Craft Fair, you can see some of the great work in the galleries below. Enjoy the variety and be astounded at the beautiful work.
