Duration 1 day
Dates tba
Fees Members   Non-Members
Fees Due By
Venue  76 Queen St, Concord West

This workshop is an introduction to the visual language used by artists and designers to communicate ideas, feelings, etc. Mary will cover the elements of design and will demonstrate how the principles of design are brought into play to compose with the elements of design. Mary has written a comprehensive booklet with many images on the Elements and Principles of Design which you can request to be emailed to you as a PDF once you have fully paid for the workshop. It must be printed in colour and brought to the workshop. Delivery of this information will be accompanied with PowerPoint presentations. There is so much ground to cover that there will not be time in this workshop for practical work.

This workshop is open to all, but if you intend to enrol in the Contemporary Stitch and Design Course, this is an excellent workshop for you to do, if you have not already formally or independently studied elements and principles of design.

If interested, please contact the Guild and register your name.
