A beautiful Huon Pine spool wrapped in silk covered by Creeping Critters. The combination of a beautifully crafted Huon Pine spool and pure silk are a perfect match for this little gem.

Students will choose their insects, dragonfly or butterfly from patterns supplied. The silk fabric is quite unique as each weft thread is divided into two threads, one is the palest of blue and the other is a gold colour. These threads are what you will use for the embroidery. The results are subtle but rich, as the threads have an amazing sheen to them. It should be possible to complete most of the insects etc. within the two days.

This is not a difficult workshop but it is a FEEL GOOD workshop.
