For people who like stitching and colouring in, try something new - put both together!

DERWENT'S Inktense pencil is a unique cross between watercolour paint and ink. They can be used on fabric, as well as paper, by adding a fabric medium.

You will discover how to colour fabric and fix the ink into a design of your choice, then embellish it with stitchery to make a book mark or book cover.

On Day 1, Introduction into how to colour your fabric with Inktense Pencils to grade shading on sample pieces. Learn how to transfer the design, colour the fabric, make the colouring permanent and prepare the fabric for embellishment for Day Two.

On Day Two - Using variegated threads, have fun with adding stitches to the piece, some old favourites, such as Chain and Backstitch, and learn some new that may be new to you - Turkey and Drizzle stitch or Double-sided Cast on stitch, then embellish with beads and metallic threads.
