Stump work was popular in England in the Stuart period in 17th Century England. You will be introduced to the use of the threads, fabrics, wires and padding and other embellishments, along with the finishing, assembling  and attaching the slips that  give this work its three-dimensional look.

You will have your own stitch samples at the end of the two days.
